EDA IF CEED 2024! Welcome to the IF CEED 3rd GENERAL CONFERENCE ("IFCEED3GC")
The EDA's IF CEED is back! And "GREEN DEFENCE" keeps ... widely "circulating"!
Following through the successful conclusion of the first phase of the European Defence Agency's (EDA's) INCUBATION FORUM FOR CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN EUROPEAN DEFENCE (IF CEED), which has achieved the objective to both build the widest defence community in the EU engaged in Circular Economy (with more than 300 experts) and incubate more than a dozen collaborative and transnational topics for projects, a second phase of the same Forum (“IF CEED 2”) started in October 2023, under a 4-year official Contribution Agreement signed by the European Commission’s DG Environment (DG ENV) and the EDA, co-funded by the EU LIFE Programme (2021-2027).
“IF CEED 2” includes activities implementing the topics incubated under the first phase, as well as incubating further collaborative and transnational ideas.
Twenty years of EDA
In 2024, the European Defence Agency marks 20 years of promoting European Defence cooperation.
From day one to today, we work to support all our Member States in building a stronger, more coherent, and capable EU defence
How do you benefit from attending the event?
The IF CEED Third Annual General Conference ("IFCEED3GC") will allow for dedicated incubation sessions of the effective and well-known IF CEED “Project Circles”, as well as developing cross-fertilising approaches to keep liaising productively and igniting synergies among any expertise: from Ministries, industry, research-and-technology organisations, academia,other private and public bodeis/entities.
This EDA's Conference is organised under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU2024BE) and in partnership with the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). It benefits of the collaboration with the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform (ECESP) - a joint initiative of the EESC and the DG ENV - and the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD).
